Albert Owen MP
Albert Owen is the Member of Parliament for Ynys Môn and a member of the International Development Select Committee.
First elected to Parliament in 2001, Albert has also served on the Welsh Affairs Committee and the Energy and Climate Change Committee. He is a member of the Speaker’s Panel of Chairs and is involved in several All-Party Groups related to energy, health and digital communications.
He has been an assiduous campaigner for a diverse energy mix, including nuclear and renewables, to serve Britain’s energy needs and has worked to ensure that his constituency, the Isle of Anglesey, is at the forefront of the 21st century energy challenge.
